Festidi ("Festidi", "we") runs festidi.com, a free party-planning site. This page explains what we collect and why. Questions: hello@festidi.com.

Your party plan stays on your device unless you save it to an account

The details you type into your plan (names, dates, guest counts, helpers, budget, shopping list) are saved in your own browser. We don't receive them unless you choose one of the features below. Clearing your browser data deletes them.

If you create an account

Accounts are optional. If you sign in, we store your plan with your account so you can open it on other devices. To sign you in we keep your email address or mobile number, and your name if you sign in with Google or Facebook (we receive only your name and email from them, never your password or posts, and we never post for you). Sign-in codes are sent by email or text message. You can delete your account and saved plan at any time from Account settings on the site; it's removed right away.

What we collect when you choose to share it

• Email reminders: your email, the party date, party type, theme, and plan title, so we can send reminders. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Vendor inquiries: your name, email, message, and the party summary you choose to send. We pass them to the vendor you contacted and keep a copy so we can help if something goes wrong.
• Vendor listings: business details, contact information, and photos that vendors submit. Approved listings (without email or phone) are shown publicly.
• Giveaways: your email and ZIP code, to run the giveaway and contact the winner.

Analytics and cookies

We count a few actions, such as when a plan is created or a link is clicked, to learn what helps. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies; you can block them in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out add-on. We don't sell personal information and don't use it for targeted advertising by others.

Links to other sites and affiliate links

Some links to shops and services are affiliate links: if you buy something, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Children

Festidi is meant for adults planning parties. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Please don't include a child's full name or other personal details in messages to vendors beyond what they need to plan the party.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep reminder sign-ups until shortly after the party, accounts until you delete them, and inquiries and listings as long as needed to run the service. You can delete your account yourself (Account settings, then Delete my account). If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove Festidi in Facebook's settings under Apps and Websites. To see, correct, or delete any other information, email hello@festidi.com.

Security

Data is stored with Amazon Web Services in the United States, encrypted at rest, and access is limited to the people who run Festidi.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll note it on the site.
